Happy New Year

Wow, 2012 what a year! It goes down in my books as the best year of my life and I think it will be hard to beat. Our wedding day was of course the best day ever and I wish I could go back in time and re-live it. But we also got to be part of other friends weddings too, seeing some of your closest friends getting married is so special. And there was an engagement in our gang too and the news of a baby arriving in 2013. So it was definitely a year when we all ‘grew up’ a bit more or shall I say that we made some big moves.

And then Mat and I decided to take our stuff and go off on the adventure we are currently on. So far everything has been awesome and it is of course partly because of the places we have been to and the things we have seen and experienced. But it wouldn’t have been half as awesome so far, if it weren’t for all the amazing people who have helped us along the way. People in Japan who we hardly knew from before, but are now our new friends. And my old time friends who live in Melbourne who have opened their doors and let us stay with them, taken care of us, cooked for us, celebrated Christmas and New Years with us and other friends who have taken us for dinner, driven us on day trips and made us picnics and played polo with Mat. You all know who you are and we Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hope to be able to repay the generous favours one day.

So a new year has started and what’s the plan… Well tomorrow we’re off on a little road trip, we’re driving down the famous Great Ocean Road – can’t wait! So keep your eyes peeled for more photo’s and updates.

In the mean time, here are some photo’s from the last few days in Melbourne. We spent the day yesterday riding along the beach to Brighton Beach and checked out the colourful beach huts. Then we finished NYE off with a BBQ at our friends place before we headed into town for the fireworks display!

Wishing you all a Healthy and Happy New Year! x
